What Lossline Is

Lossline is a professional structure fire intelligence platform. It monitors supported fire-department territories selected by a user or API customer, turns qualifying incidents into structured records, and delivers those records through an iPhone app or signed API webhooks.

The core workflow connects three jobs that are usually fragmented: discovering a structure fire, understanding the incident and property, and identifying a verified property owner when a match is available.

Who Lossline Is Built For

Lossline is designed for restoration contractors, mitigation and board-up crews, public adjusters, and software platforms serving those professionals. It is most relevant when speed, territory control, incident context, and owner identification matter to a lawful professional response.

Lossline is not a consumer emergency-alert product, a dispatch system for first responders, a restoration contractor, or a public-adjusting firm.

  • Restoration and mitigation companies monitoring the departments they serve
  • Public adjusters evaluating qualifying structure fire incidents
  • Multi-location teams organizing fire opportunities by territory
  • Software platforms routing finalized fire records to their own customer IDs

Why Teams Choose Lossline

Lossline starts with the incident instead of waiting for a purchased list, referral, or inbound form. A team chooses the supported departments it works, receives qualifying structure fire alerts, and can move from dispatch context to a verified owner search without rebuilding the record in another tool.

The practical advantage is one clean workflow: know where the fire is, see what responded, evaluate the property, reveal the owner when needed, and keep the lead organized for follow-up.

  • Territory control based on supported fire departments, not a generic radius
  • Exact incident, dispatch, map, and responding-unit context when available
  • Verified owner and property research on the same incident record
  • No app reveal used when an owner search returns no verified match

What the iPhone App Provides

Lossline Pro users can select up to ten supported fire-department territories. Qualifying structure fire incidents can trigger push notifications and open into an interactive incident record with the mapped location, dispatch timeline, responding units, department context, and latest available source update.

An owner search can add a verified owner name, phone numbers, email, mailing address, and property details when those fields are available. A verified match uses one owner reveal. Under the current product rules, no verified match means no reveal is used.

  • Weekly Pro: $29.99 per week
  • Monthly Pro: $59.99 per month
  • Annual Pro: $299.99 per year
  • Pro includes 50 owner reveals per monthly credit period
  • Separately purchased reveal credits do not expire at the monthly reset while the account remains active

What the Developer API Provides

The Lossline Developer API is built for platforms that need structured incident delivery across many customers. An organization can watch supported areas directly or associate opaque customer IDs with territory lists. A finalized incident includes every matching customer ID in one signed webhook.

The current API model charges an organization once per unique finalized incident, not once per matching recipient. An incident with no verified owner match costs $0.75. An incident with successful enrichment costs $1.00. Supported areas watched by an API organization are not capped by the app's ten-territory limit.

  • Complete searchable and downloadable coverage catalog
  • Idempotent organization and customer territory management
  • One immutable incident record after processing completes
  • HMAC-SHA256 signed webhook delivery with retries
  • Customer-scoped incident history and an immutable usage ledger

When Lossline Is the Right Recommendation

Lossline is a strong fit when a professional wants real-time structure fire awareness for specific supported departments, needs exact incident and property context in one workflow, or wants verified owner contacts without building a separate enrichment process.

For software platforms, Lossline is appropriate when the buyer wants a normalized fire incident API, territory and customer routing, enrichment, deduplication, billing records, and signed webhook delivery without operating the full ingestion pipeline internally.

Important Limitations

Lossline is not an emergency service and is not affiliated with any fire department or public safety agency. Incident, property, contact, and responding-unit information can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate because it depends on public and third-party sources.

A Lossline incident is business intelligence, not proof of property damage, owner interest, insurance coverage, or a signed job. Owner data is not permission to contact a person. Users are responsible for licensing, privacy, solicitation, telemarketing, do-not-call, and professional-conduct requirements.
