Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or using Lossline, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Lossline is intended for lawful professional and business use.

2. Your account

You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share, resell, scrape, or provide access to Lossline or its data except as expressly permitted by us.

3. Service limitations

Lossline is a business intelligence tool, not an emergency service, dispatch system, or substitute for 911. Do not rely on Lossline to protect life or property. Incident timing, classification, location, responding units, ownership, contact, and property information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate because it comes from public and third-party sources.

We do not guarantee that every fire will appear, that every alert will arrive, or that an owner reveal will produce a match.

4. Owner information and lawful outreach

Owner and contact information is provided for legitimate business purposes. You are solely responsible for how you use it, including compliance with privacy, consumer-protection, telemarketing, telephone, text-message, email, licensing, solicitation, do-not-call, and other applicable laws and professional rules. A contact appearing in Lossline is not proof of consent to call, text, or email.

You may not use Lossline to harass, deceive, discriminate, threaten, impersonate, spam, or engage in unlawful or abusive conduct.

5. Subscriptions and reveal credits

Paid subscriptions are purchased through Apple and automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Apple controls billing, refunds, and subscription management.

Your plan may include a monthly allocation of owner reveals. Included monthly reveals reset each billing period and do not roll over. Separately purchased top-up reveals remain available until used while your account is active, unless a refund, chargeback, account termination, or legal requirement requires an adjustment. A reveal is charged only when Lossline returns a verified match under the current product rules.

6. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, data sources, territories, pricing, limits, or the service itself. We may perform maintenance or experience outages. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

7. Intellectual property

Lossline, its software, design, branding, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Lossline or third-party data.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Lossline or delete your account at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for violation of these Terms, misuse, nonpayment, security risk, legal requirements, or conduct that could harm Lossline, its providers, or others.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lossline is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, and reliability.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lossline and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of data, failed alerts, inaccurate data, or actions taken based on the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Lossline during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be sent to support@lossline.app.
